The SLS (Sandra-Lynn's Spin) is a space for knowledge mobilization in the educational field of inclusivity, equity and diversity.

Inspired by my doctoral adventure and haunted by my felt 'lack of action' post-completion of my EdD, this website is fueled by future possibility. Moving away from inclusive education by accident and into one of intentional design asks educators to take a new spin on teaching and learning in today's classroom. Combining expansive thinking with real time learning, my writing will provoke and push new edges to the art of leadership in complex times. While modern defintions of 'the spin' refer to deference and persuasion, often characterized by exaggeration, euphemisms and excessively emotional appeals, my intention is to provoke thinking, to share ideas and to moblize new ways to think about education in complex times.

Ideas on this website may be messy, heartfelt and raw but will always be honest, as well as research-based and grounded in my theory of change. These ideas are reflective of my personal thoughts, as well as my curiousities and committments sharing to expansive thinking in the field of education.
